.....just buy a cheapo black BlackBay from our TD´s - change the insert to one from ebay (or recolor the triangle with red paint) and you´re up to date to the newest model out of the TUDOR collection..... :)

That's beautiful! I just dont get why the BBs are so thick and chunky. It's a heritage piece so in my mind it should be much more subtle. The case could be 38-39mm and much thinner.

The mid case looks thick but the caseback is recessed into it and the Watch is only 12,8mm thick including the domed sapphire, for a 41mm body and bezel diameter, thinner than the Submariner 16610, and with a much larger dial opening of 31mm.

Once you have the BB on the wrist, it's the Submariner that looks unbalanced.

I agree. I went to torneau to take a look at some bb, and they feel really chunky. Maybe it's because I'm used to the smaller rolex subs, and my moon watch, but the bb feels a tad too thick

Agreed. I purchased a BB rep and wore it most of last summer, trying to bond to it. It never happened. Now it sits in a drawer and gets no use.

If it were just a bit smaller, at about 38mm, it would be perfect.

Yeah, a 38-40mm Black Bay would look great. It's a refined and understated watch as is, a bit smaller and it would look classier than dare I say, a Rolex SubC. I'd buy a small Black Bay before I'd buy a 14060 easily.

True! 38mm would be perfect.

Just talked to a knowledgable AD, he says no one knows until the 14th, but he says it's from the heritage line.

However he said he doesn't think anything will get close to the "one watch" Black Bay bc it would decrease the value so much.

At the the same time thought he said there was a 2nd gen (blue) Pelagos and a 2nd gen ranger (north flag, which was incredible in the metal FYI) that what else is left besides the BB for a new release?

we will all have to wait and see it seems

I tried on the North Flag at the Wempe boutique in NY, and it really is something else. The integrated bracelet gave it a really nice overall feel and look, but with all the surfaces brushed, it's still very rugged. It very much reminds me of the Rolex 1530 case (which I think they should bring back, maybe in 40mm though). I really want to pick one up, and the great thing is, I could.

Considering they're just pushing the 3.5k mark, with an in-house movement, I almost feel compelled to get it.
