Hello folks!

After reading here a couple of month I decided to build up my own Tudor Submariner 7928. I fell in love with some pics of the Bulang and Sons website like this one:

After some reviews of several builds I decided to go the Cartel 5513 way.

After I got it I sent it to RolexAddict.
Following mods he will do:

- reshaping of case profile
- reshaping of crown and crownguards (pointed CG's:thumbsup:)
- fitting new Clark crystal
- aging bezel insert

Now I'm searching for a nice Tudor 7928 dial.
I've just found one at ndtradingcorp (it's about 200$) and some at Minh's shop (600$+ :hypno:)
Is there any alternative?
Could anybody recommend a nice Tudor Submariner dial to me?

Thanks a lot!

Pics will follow when the watch returns from RA:)

P.S.: Huge knowledge here on RWI. Thank you all for that!

No replies? :-(

I've found and ordered a nice glossy 7928 dial with gilt hands at Yuki's shop.

Here are a few pics after RA's casework before the dial installation:

Now the new dial and the gilt hands are installed:

Now it's at its way to me.

When it arrives I want to age dial, lume and hands a bit..
I thought about the Bonesy brown-watercolour-method..

Do you have any ideas?

That is an amazing looking watch! I've kicked around the idea of trying to do something similar but I haven't read up enough on the Tudor models to know what I'm doing or looking for yet. Thanks for sharing the pics of this.

I wasn't thinking about it that much... When I saw the picture in my first post I knew I need to have this watch.
After seeing prices about 6500$ I decided to build one.

@gmg_3

Thank you for your advice! That's the dial I've already chosen..

I want those crown guards!!! They give me that tingly feeling. Enjoy it! I'm excited to see your progress on aging the dial.
