Tudor Sub 9401/9411 - best choice?

Hello everybody,

I would like a Tudor 9401/9411 rep.
I know the best choice is certainly the Vietnam way but I'm not ready to spend more than 300€ for it.

As I know I have 2 options:

- Raffles parts build. That seems not bad unless the lume pip on the bezel.

- JKF option



Prices are sensibly similar and building it isn't an issue. I'm not an expert. I know cases are not 100% gen specs but I can live with it.

Which option would be the best for you?

Hey man, the JKF is pretty good actually. Especially if you combine it with an Yuki dial

Thank you for your answer. I didn't know Yuki and dials look awesome. Only cons I see is lume is poor. Maybe it's like it supposed to be anyway.

Yeah, lume isnt like a new submariner indeed.

Is and will be a vintage watch so yes the lume is "poor"

Going JKF isn’t a bad idea. If you like the feel and look, you can always look at replacing the dial with Yuki (as suggested) or invest a bit more in a nice set of viet hands and dial when you are ready.

Bezel inserts with the correct lime pip are available if you search on Ali and eBay.

Im finishing the 79090 mercedes hands and am planning to build a snowflake with raffle dial and hands with an case and replace the bezel insert.

If you just want a pearl, you might want to consider an Athaya.

Yes , just either remove the raffles pip or get a replacement pip from athaya but they are out of stock at the moment.
