Hello everybody,

today ive noticed a metalic noise from my beloved Ranger.

Opened caseback and found loose rotor screw. Try to fix the screw but it looks like broken.

Thonking about to change the movement to ETA. But not sure if it will fit.

I think they are ETA 2824 sized. Would be perfect to change to a Swiss ETA!

Given the cost I'd take the ETA. Just make sure that the Asian hands fit.

Definitely ETA. While you're at that see if you can get an elabore grade movement in it. It's a bit more money but VERY accurate out of the box.

I swapped an elabore grade movement into my TC Sub V6 and it's been running average +2 sec a day since, can't be happier with it.

And did your watchmaker mention if the new movement will have H2 or H4 CP height? I think maybe an H4 would be more gen like.

a watch is meant to be worn
