Hi,

I had some time this weekend and all of the necessary parts arrived earlier this week. So, my Ranger got a little tune up. I replaced the cannon pinion with an H4 setup, replaced the set bridge with one that gives the crown two positions like the gen, cleaned out the dust under the crystal, and retimed it to +2s.

This is awesome!
Will be getting one of these very soon.
Where did you get the parts to make the crown like gen with the 2 setting?
How is the WR on these btw?

Thanks!

The part you need is a set bridge for an ETA 2801 movement. I ordered mine from ofrei.com. It's part number 445/1327.

I have no idea about WR. I never had it tested.

Cost for what? The set bridge? Not sure off the top of my head but you could look it up in the website listed above where it was purchased.

Now you guys have had these a while how are they holding up to scratching and general wear (crown tube threading and bracelet etc)? I'm so tempted to buy a gen but still hanging on the fence since this rep is so good otherwise!

spaz...
Have had my Heritage Ranger (V6F 1:1) rep now for over a year and its been a great/accurate watch (+/- 3-4 s/per day)...
I wear the watch daily and have wound the watch only once (about 20-turns) about six months ago... Considering the 'decent' accuracy, is there really any need to 'wind' the watch on a more regular basis.
Thanks
