Had been following a thread here about MKS Date+Day but no sign of a sunburst dial coming any time soon.
So I ended up taking a risk with an Alix seller recommended in another thread for this watch kit. (Note seller doesn't have kit on AliX store) N.B. I am not a modder and wouldn’t want to risk breaking a movement trying to get in all assembled so was pleased when I saw this store offered assembly for 5USD.

Overall quality is probably similar to 'AAA/U1' so not really reptime tier. Cyclops is a bit off and dial is a bit grainy up close. Assembly way better than I could do.
Watch was heavily magnetised but after demagnetising and regulating it is now running Os/day. Movement looks like good quality seagull clone.
Overall very happy. Looks stunning in natural light.
