Tudor Pelagos FXD

Steve came through with the Pelagos FXD from M+F. I haven’t seen much info on this watch so I thought I share some pictures with you guys.

I’ve been wearing this watch exclusively for a week now and I’ve been extremely happy with it. Has been keeping time well and looks great. The Velcro strap is more brown than green like the gen but I have a gen strap coming in soon. It did also come with the black strap that I’ve been using. However, the buckle is it tad sharp on the edges.

Overall, extremely satisfied with this one and a great “beater” watch. I think this one scratched the itch for a gen. Especially after comparing it with a friend’s gen FXD.

Yes, it's a great watch.
Now crank it up a notch and go and buy a Tactical Frog FX for half the price and compare both watches side by side.

Surprised you chose the black one over the M.N. one though . . .

How does it compare to the GEN? I had the original pelagos and I was extremely impressed with it, but it was way to chunky to wear with corporate wear.

I tried on the gen fdx at my local AD and quite keen to give it a go!

give us a more detailed review, and of coarse more pics!

Really love these and far prefer the black to the blue MN! The GENs are great value second hand as well. I really need to try one!

Here are a few photos I was able to snag. I think the most noticeable difference is definitely the dial. The gen is a much richer and darker. On the wrist from a few feet away it’s hardly noticeable. You would also need another one to compare to notice those details.
