Hi to All! I've seen a lot of tudor pelagos and still have to understand which is the best 1:1 version.. if to go with VF of whatever. Anyway we are always speaking about 5 liner pelagos, those that finally Tudor has released with its own "heart". I would love to find the first version and understand which company did the best replica of the 2 liner.. or if it's possible to buy just the dial and then change the dial into a newest version of the 5 line? Might have sense?

For the 5 liner I've also seen there are many different kind of movements which TD have available. which would be the best?

MIYOTA 9015
A2824
A5612
A2824V2
A5612V4

i'm quite fresh to replica and dunno how to choose.. :(

Be aware of different date window positions between 2-liner and 5-liner. The dials are not interchangeable.
I would go for the 5-liner made by KW/V6F. I‘ve got a blue one. It‘s a very very accurate rep!
And I would stay away from Miyota version. Although this is a very good and reliable movement there are some thoughts:

1) The rotor winds in only one direction

2) The rotor is noisy because of hard metal bearings

3) No instant date change and not so great power reserve

4) Difficult to regulate because there is no fine regulation

5) Impossible to source spare parts or other fitting parts like hands and dials

Go for asian eta. Always possible to change with gen eta.
