I have had this home plate in my Collection for quite some time now.

I really enjoy grabbing this one out of the box and heading out. There is so much that is interesting to look at on the monte carlo.

One of my favorite features is the date wheel font. There have been many interesting fonts used on the 7034 movement but the font Tudor chose has to be my favorite.

looking to be hand wrought, some of the same numerals appear in different styles on the same date wheel.
This doesnt really matter considering that you only see on numeral at a time on the date window.

In the following photos I will give you some examples of this beautiful font.

The hooked one only appears three times in the 31 dates. Once on the first day position and twice on the day eleven. All of the remaining ones are flat top amd bottom

In the next photographs you can see that the ones are as I said before flat on the top and bottom. Note also the very stylish 2 and 3 as well. These forms are carried out through the rest of the numerals.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. This should also be helpful if you happen to be searching for a gen style date wheel and need some reference pics to refer to.

Hey Pauly what is the recipe on your snowy build?

Mr @jelliotz put it all together [emoji2] it's a Phong case and pretty much everything else is Genuine with a Michael Young Superdome crystal [emoji41] it's a stunner in person, very glossy [emoji13]

Very nice Pauly. That must be a late production dial. No paint problems at all!

That is one of the service dials.

Looks good!
Yep it looks great. I suppose Tudor had to change quite a lot of the dials with paint issues so service dial makes a lot of sense. Especially seeing this one with a perfect surface!

[MENTION=84615]J!m1[/MENTION] indeed it is a later service dial, not the coolest but it does match the bezel insert quite well [emoji2] [MENTION=17786]Hugop[/MENTION] thanks! I do enjoy this piece a lot, it's a keeper [emoji2]
