Hi im new here and purchased this Tudor from AE before i found this Forum. I have paid 125 Euros for it and it was shipped to Germany. Supposedly it has a A2836 Movement but i will open it up at a later time and report back whats actually inside of it. Here are some quick pics i took with my S4. Which factory could this tudor come from and What Version do you think this is? Seller was advertising it as a NOOB watch.

how fluid does the second hand move? That can give you an idea if it is at least running at 28.8 k vs 21.6k before you open it up. The pics look at a glance like it is a decent rep, but I'm not a tudor expert. Hows the lume?

Well they've lied to you once by telling you it's made by noob don't be surprised to find a 21j in there. Theres a reason we don't buy watches from Ali here.

Its pretty fluid maybe about 5 ticks a second, i have taken pictures of the movement and you can see them here: http://imgur.com/a/p2Jza
The lume isnt that great the hands do light up and the pearl aswell but the dial doesnt really light up. and after i browsed the forum a little shortly after purchase i knew i wasnt going to get what was advertised but i always have the option to open a dispute and maybe receive a small partial refund.

Edit: Oh and wouldbe cool if someone could tell me what movement this actually is since i dont know much about them. is it a a2836?

The rep makers are buying the movements at a very low cost in bulk. Maybe as low as $5

a DG2813 movement can be bought separately for around 30-40 euros in your country. If you dig around on Dhgate or Aliexpress maybe it could be found as low as 20 euros. They are found in rep watches from 40-150+ euro's. a2836 movements are usually found in watches from 200 euro's upwards.

I also own this watch btw with a DG2813. i paid $130 on Dhgate and i've not seen them sell any lower. It's not a bad rep but mine did have a few flaws. The Tudor logo was crooked abit. The crystal is domed but tapered at the edges and not rounded like the gen. The flip clasp piece wouldn't close completely flush but a little modification fixed that. One of the lug holes was off centre and installing a spring bar was much harder. Lume was weak. The crown is slightly too wide and the rose logo on the side is not painted black. The dial indices and engravings on the flip clasp are also not so accurate compared to the gen. The bezel is made from either plastic or metal painted matt black. Everything else looks quite good. The case, caseback, clasp and bracelet are reasonably well finished.

Mine had some rough edges and burrs on the end links which i smoothed over with a file. Your watch seems to be similar in the photos. If you bought this from a TD the end links would be finished alot better.

I'd guess they are made by the same factory as the a2836 versions. But could be rejected versions because of the flaws on the end links etc.

Personally, since you were told it was a 2836 (8 bps), I'd try a dispute to get a few bucks off the price. The dealer should have been more honest. Looks nice for the price, but not a super rep. ( Not that I'd expect one in this price range)

I have both. An Ali BB and a TD one. Trust me they are world's apart.

I'll post a few pics for comparison in the coming days, bit busy next couple of days.

But honestly, having thought I had a decent BB (looks same as OP), next to a the ZF v4 it feels like a very cheap replica. Anyway, it's still good enough for the free leather strap.

Ok, so a picture paints a thousands words and I'm a man of few!!!

Here is a selection. Ali version is always on left. Colour of the bezel, the dial, quality of the bracelet, all significantly different and look cheap next to the ZF.

If your looking for a nice compromise, I'd recommend the ZF V2 that watch station has listed on their site for around £70. Fantastic quality piece, only draw backs being a low beat movement.
