Morning all,

Got a rep blackbay and the seconds hand keeps getting stuck in the exact same place. Fault is intermittent but really annoying. Anywhere in the U.K. That could repair or is it a simple fix?

I had the same problem with my V1 Red BB, assuming it is the same problem it is just a matter of a slight tweak of the second hand to stop it hitting (and binding) the crystal.

That is of course if that is the problem and nothing to do with the innards of the movement.

This will require removal of the movement from the case so if you are not keen top attempt yourself than your local watch guy should be able to do this in a matter on minutes.

Good luck.

How hard a repair would it be to do myself? Guess I can find some instructions online

This is really very easy as you only have to pull the movement. Remove the case back. Pull stem to winding position and then remove. Remove the 2 screws holding the movement with a 1mm screwdriver. Gently rotate case until movement comes out (onto a soft clean surface). Replace stem. gently push on second hand to give a slightly downward bend to clear crystal but not hit the other hands. Reverse process and your done.

Lots of tuts and videos...
