Tudor Black Bay V3 Review

Movement: -Asian Clone 2824-2 25J Automatic Movt with decorated movement
Beat Rate: -28,800vph

Crystal: -Dome Shaped Scratchproof Sapphire Crystal with Colorless AR coating
Dial: -Superlumed Dial and Hands
Bezel: - Maroon Rotating Bezel
Strap: -Stainless Steel Bracelet as per gen
Deployant Clasp: -Flip Lock Clasp with Ceramic Bearings as per gen
Water Resistance: ->50 Meters

Bezel - It was really super tight no shaky bezel here and it's actually somehow similar to my Genuine Rolex "Hulk" in the clicks clean and crisp. Would rate it a 10/10 for a rep!


Pearl - I have no idea how the pearl should look like but IMO it's really nice but at the same time from the pics shown here

The pearl from the blue and the red bezel is different but this rep's pearl matches the Blue one. However it's nicely done so will give it a 8/10 (up to you guys to judge it here it doesn't really bother me)

Crystal - The raised sapphire crystal looks really awesome! It's a little bit domed. Colourless and nice AR here! would give it a 9/10

Front view of it. I know my pics is kinda sucky no $$$ to invest in a Camera

Bracelet - A really nice bracelet. Smooth, has some weight. I got no complains about it except the clasp. As you can see from my pics below the gap is kinda huge so will give the bracelet a 7/10
Engravings are solid and deep. Looks really good!

Conclusion : A very good buy indeed for that sum of money compared to the gen. Will gladly use it as a daily beater. Goes well with casual or formal wear.
Only problem here is the clasp I feel and I do hope they will update it! Will definitely recommend it to everyone out there!

Thanks so much! My QC pic's gap were somehow smaller due to the angle of the shot didn't knew it will be that great but it doesn't really bother me since no one will really notice it. I believe all of them after the v2 are like this as seen from the other threads of Tudor BB

Are the hands a little closer to the dial than v2? It looks still a little different by a shade but it may be the lighting...

A great rep indeed I'd really would like to get it. I've checked on several TD sites and they seem to sell only V2. It appears that only Sora has V3. How comes?

Thank you for the review! Just got my blue bezel black bay. I'm not sure if it's V2 or V3 but my clasp has that huge gap too. I saw that in my QC pics. Other pics of black bays seem to have that problem too. But it doesn't bother me as much. Still a good watch for the money. Cheers!

Hi my name is Andreas and I make watch straps. I wanted to display and make watch straps for a Tudor black bay and thought it may be a good idea to have one.
So I went and purchased from Sora he has a member here and the seller.
After I checked out his reputation I felt I could trust and purchased.
After the money was exchanged he did what he promised. He sent me with in a couple of days qc pictures. After my approval the watch was sent.
The carrier he used EMS, short for express mail service link in the US postal system you get tracking information all the way.


It took about seven days for me to receive the goods. Here are some pictures of the watch and the watch strap I had made for it.
And of course if you would like me to make a watch strap for you my email is [email protected] .
I also have deployment buckles , allowing me to make watch straps closer to what Tudor/Rolex offers.

Concluding I really can recommend Soras services, a man of his word.
