Tudor Black Bay (red) - ZF

Had a fantastic experience with pure time ordering the BB red. Us$288 plus shipping. Ordered on Monday last week, delivered in the UK on monday 1 week later.

I rejected the first watch at QC due to misalignment of pip and baton at 9....and this one was the second option they gave.

Only flaw I can see is that the Tudor shield logo doesn't quite line up with the triangle at 12.

I had initial concerns about the clasp which was opening a bit too easy...but I had missed a bit of the protective plastic sticker , and once removed this solved the issue.

Nice watch! I have the same and love it. But I like the rose version without rivet bracelet a little bit more.

btw: is the minute hand on your watch not evenly stacked?

Yikes...there's definitely an offset hole on the minute hand.

Wanted to give an update on this watch.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the hour hand hand had become misaligned.

As a result I got it sent it off to rwi member ado213 for it to be looked at and serviced.

In short, there were a couple of faults. First the hour wheel was egg shaped and catching on the pinion wheel. Secondly the hands had issues, with the tubes barely long enough to allow them to miss the indices markers. In my case, the hands had hit the indices, which seems to have caused the misalignment of the hour hand hand.

Apologies if my explanation of the faults isn't clear...I don't have any technical expertise or knowledge, and am repeating what I was told!

Got the watch back now, altogether a cracking from ado213, first time using him, and will definitely continue moving forward. Highly recommend.

I'm addition, puretime had previously agreed to send me some replacement hands, given the offset hole on one of them. They hadn't initially wanted to pay shipping, and I was initially ok to wait for the hands to be shipped once I ordered another watch. However given this issue I contacted PT, and whilst not overly happy, they have now agreed to now send me replacement hands and cover the shipping.
