Hi folks,
Looking to buy my first Tudor rep and have decided to go for the Tudor Black Bay heritage with the navy bezel.
However, I was wondering if anybody could testify as to the build quality of the cheaper, 2813 version versus the more expensive 2824 version? Both are produced by ZF factory.
The 2813 is just over half the price of the 2824, so does the movement justify the extra cost, or are there other differences between the two models too?

Kind regards,
A Tudor Noob

The low beat (2813) movement results in a noticeable tick or stutter of the second hand. No idea if there is any case quality difference though, sorry

Thanks for the reply!
I've watched some side by side videos of the two movements and I can see what you mean.

Also the lower priced one has mineral crystal and the higher priced one has sapphire crystal.

The Black Bay with asian eta is a beautiful watch and very well made rep, it´s a longterm keeper. On some other reps only the movement changes but on the Blackbay it´s worth to go for the better movement and spend the $298 or what it is costing. They are not interchangeable/different. Have fun around.

Tough call. I went through the same dilemma, but my watch infatuations only last about a week, so I was on to the next one before I had to decide, lol.

Looking forward to someone with the 2813 weighing in.

ZF V2 from watchstation around £70 looks like a great low beat variant and an absolute bargain for the price.

I have that version, and it's the best value for money rep by far! The case, quality, bracelet etc are all great. Yes, the low beat movement is a negative point, but I wouldn't say it almost ticks! It's still a 21600 beat rate and with the large second hand mine still runs quite smooth.

If you want the best rep available get the more expensive one, if you want a very good, very reasonable rep, get the cheaper one. Btw mine is from watch station also.

For me the big difference is sapphire crystal.

Movement also is a plus. I like very much how A2824 works, and in term of rep, is more accurate to the gen (with ETA 2824).
