Update (9/4)
Steve got me another watch in a week, and although its index had misalignment, I GL'ed it. He arranged the express shipping via Fedex which took another week to arrive.
Upon inspection, the watch revealed some flaws that weren't noticeable during the QC phase: specifically, the bezel alignment to the dial and the crown action. The bezel is misaligned, sitting between the markers, whereas in the QC picture, the 12 o’clock position was perfectly aligned. I suspect that the factory might have rotated the bezel to align it, but it's now off-center. This is primarily a cosmetic issue, and I could try to overlook it. However, the second issue is more serious, as it affects the watch's functionality—the manual hand-winding position is missing, likely due to a defective keyless works.
Overall, this watch has more issues than I anticipated. While I don't hold Steve responsible, I do wish he had checked these details more thoroughly before shipping.
I am currently waiting for Steve about the next step to resolve this.
