Tudor 79090 (Blue) Submariner Vietnam Case Build (Finished)

Hello all!

I've been lusting after a Blue Tudor Submariner for a while and decided to get my act together.

The build details are as follows:
- Complete Bivintage case, with Cyclops and correct engraving
- Phong dial 79090 & Phong hands
- Get ETA 2824-2 Movement
- Raffles Tudor Oyster Bracelet

The colour of the bezel insert that came with the case was completely wrong, so I attempted a ghost bezel fade. It didn't come out the best, so I may have another attempt in the future. Overall, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out.

Very nice build. In my experience if you want a blue faded insert you must use a back insert to start with. Black will turn to blue/azure. Many blue inserts instead tend to fade to lilac which often isn't very appealing.

Stunning build but I'd go for a new insert, for sure. Do you have a link to Bivintage? I see them mentioned a lot. Phong dial looks great too!
