Trying to identify my new PAM 382 Bronzo

Hi, Ya'll!
The original Panerai 382 Bronzo had been on my bucket list for years, but for mysterious reasons, I never bought one. After the recent raids happened, I panicked, and tried to get my hands on one, any one. Only one TD was able to help me, presumably from old stock, and the watch arrived on August 1, in great condition. I wound it up and let it run, and it stopped 2 days later on August 3.
Since I have gigantic wrists, all my straps are custom made. While I'm waiting for my Orloff strap to arrive, I put the Bronzo hanging in a container, half-filled with genuine water from the Pacific Ocean nearby. It gets patina slowly and kind of naturally, which is what I was aiming for.

What I have not been able to figure out is the MAKER and VERSION of my 382. The latest update on ALE's Pam Review Guide doesn't help me either, as the balance wheel seems to be in the 7 o'clock position, just like the original, but ZF would have it in the 11 o'clock position. Hence my request to the experts, can you tell me the maker and version of my Bronzo please?

Thank you!

So it's a ZF V4 then?
But what about the movement? The balance wheel is in the 7 o'clock position, just like the Gen P9000, whereas ZF uses an A7750 where the balance wheel is in the 11 o' clock position, yes/

A clear tell is how you set the date on yours

From the balance wheel at 7 it should be vsf.
Zf balance wheel is at 11.

Does it have the jumping hour module?

The 382 has a P.9000 clone, it can only be found on the VSF with this balance wheel.
And of course, in no part it resembles ZF.

Thank you for your responses, gentlemen.
I played with the watch and I cannot get the date to quick set. It's only 2 positions, winding and time-setting. If I want to set the date, I'll have to wind and wind and wind the long way until I get there.

From ALE's guide I was under the impression that the 382 is ("was") only made by either KW or ZF. The fact that there's a VSF version never crossed my mind because, and I read it again, ALE never even mentions VSF in regard to the 382. He did mention toward the end that there's a NOOB version in the planing, but that probably never materialized.

So, then, if this is indeed a VSF version:

1) Is there a review of this 382 anywhere?
2) is that movement Seagull based or what is it?

I'm curious about the movement, because if VSF was able to put the balance wheel in the correct 7 o'clock location, like the GEN P9000 has it, why didn't ZF factory take this version and also replicate it?

I'm sorry if this sounds ignorant on my part, but I genuinely would like to learn more about the VSF version of this watch.

Thank you!

That's right, your PAM382 VSF is configured the same way as GEN, since it has a P.9000 clone.

Pay attention to the PAM GUIDE publication date. VSF is an the only one factory producing 382 for the last few years. The KW / V6F and ZF are significantly older versions, then there was no clone p.9000 yet, and an A7750 or st2555 was used with an incorrect balance wheel position for gen.
Then there was sf also with the wrong wheel position, but gen functions, and finally a full-fledged VSF clone, which is the only version available for many years.

There are no other factories producing the p.9000 clone.
It is an independent movement made by the factory specifically for the PAMS models, and it is still used in all of this factory's products to this day.

Just use the search and everything that you find about 382 over the past 3 years, probably, will be devoted to VSF.

Since VSF is the only factory that makes the 382 Bronzo, and VSF has been raided, nobody can get you one right now. I got mine from Sead. It was the very last "leftover" model.
Love that watch!
Good luck to you.

Nowhere else can you get the rep PAM1074. No factory has done this, and I'm not sure that something decent will appear in the near future.

You won't find it at a TD. You can search online via the AD sites because as of this writing the 1074 is only available as a gen.
