So i have been on here and rwc, reading reviews about both DSN and PT/Angus PAM 111h.
I have read good about both watches, and am stuck on which route to go.
I know that PT has choice between a 6497 Asian and ETA, both with the working dagger swanneck ( the ultimate 111h). Also from pictures i have seen, the CG on it also looks pretty good. The "L Swiss Made L" comes pretty close to the 6, but from what i have seen, you're not gonna get the sandwich dial any closer to gen, unless you buy gen. All the reps have flaws.
I also just read a review on the DSN PAM 111. His CG looks pretty good, i think the pictures i saw also used the asian movement. But with no PP offered by DSN, makes it inconvenient, and i have also read alot about his QC issues and not getting the watch your ordered (but being fixed later).
I have read that if anything going to the PT ultimate 111e is a great way to go, but there is something about that sandwich dial that has got me hooked. Also the paint on it looks a little too green, where as on the 111H the sandwich dial looks more ivoryish, better to me.
But then which way to go, does it make a difference switching over to PT and getting the ETA movement over the Asian 6497. I mean is it really worth the money?
I guess im just looking for advice from people wh have ordered these watches, or seen them in person and can help me in anyway, on geting the best looking PAM 111.
Thanks alot guys,
Andy
