Does anyone know which factory this 16610 is made from? I asked Andrew about it and the dial's dimension but he said the factory's information is not available 🤷‍♂️

My goal is built a 16610 and swap the dial for Yuki's ETA 1680 Red dial.

Thanks in advance!

I don’t get it.
Why a 1680 in a 16610 case? 🤔

Isn’t a 16610 dial 28.5mm diameter and a 1680 dial 26.5mm diameter

Or is the Yuki dial oversized ?

Might want to double check that

If building a 1680 why not use a JKF watch or consider a Bivintage (eBay) case.

Yuki states that their ETA dial are 26.5mm.

I want to keep the budget as low as possible ( < 500).

initially, I consider a JKF 1680 which is the easier route but I like the 5 digits more than the 4 digits and the red line is simply chef kiss. Plus, I like to build fantasy Rolex built lol

You should find the thread about the guy who put a sea dweller 43mm dial into a 40mm sub case.
Maxi indices

It looked very good, I’ve always wanted to make one.

I think he just had to sand the dial edge down a little
You will also be able to use a Asian 3135 and date and not have to deal with a date wheel overlay

It was a watchsmith that is from Florida and has been banned for a few years now. I can’t remember his name.

Edit- it was P4GTR over on RWG

My mistake it was a 43mm style dial in a SD4K case

I would love to see someone jam this 43mm anniversary dial into a 16600 BP rep sea dweller 5 digit case.
I believe the BP rep sea dweller is a larger dial than gen but can’t say for sure. I think it would work

I think the gen 16600 and 14060 dials are a little smaller. Someone here will hopefully remind me.
