So I ordered a Medium Santos 12 days ago. I was told 6 days ago the watch had been made, and Andrew was just waiting to receive the watch. Then post it to me. Today I’ve been told there will be a delay with making the watch. WTF! I was told it’s been made already. But if I change the order for the xl Santos, there won’t be a delay and I will receive ot quicker. Thoughts folks??

First of all. amazing first post.
No one is making a watch for you. Your dealer sources it from the factories. They have no control over availability. If you can't deal with that, then his hobby isn't for you. This isn't Amazon.
Hey man, before you get dragged in the comments, I just wanted to say this game takes A LOT of patience... As long as you ordered from the TD list here everything should work out just fine. I ordered a watch from Steve (theonewatches) about 3 weeks ago and he said it would take about 2 weeks for me to get the QC pics, I eventually just ended up changing the order to a watch he had on his in stock list. Received QC pics the next day, GL'd, sent the remaining balance, and now just waiting on tracking. Not worried at all - If this is your first rep order you have A LOT to learn, I still know relatively nothing... Anyway, If I were you I would probably change my order to something else that the TD has in stock, although you said you ordered a santos medium, I don't know if I personally would want to go with a larger watch... Obviously that is personal preference. Hope this helps! Enjoy your time here and do lots of reading!

Sometimes you get the watch you ordered quickly with QC photos after a few days, sometimes it takes months. The dealers are the brokers, they have to put in your order to the factory that makes the watch (there are several), then wait until the factory produces it. Sometimes the factory won't get around to producing your model for a while. Then there are holidays, raids, and other supply chain disruptions. When you order, know that it may take a really long time for the process.

I’ve been waiting a couple months for QC on a Panerai 390. I don’t remember exactly how long it’s been. It’ll show up eventually, no big deal. I have more pressing things to worry about, like which pair of socks I’m going to put on in the morning.
You have to wait. Even Amazon can take long with certain items. Happened to me this month. Eventually everything I ordered arrived

Hi buddy.
The watch stock has not arrived in from the Factory. Once it arrives, we will do our QC checks and then proceed to shoot the QC pics and send to you.
We do not make the watch. Its assembled by the Factory side and usually take some time.

I have only ever ordered from Andrew and I have never had any issues. 6+ orders. I would never consider going elsewhere. If you can’t deal with delays then perhaps this game is not for you. Please do not unnecessarily slander peoples names, especially when they are reputable! This is a game of patience…
instead of stating things with your emotions, you could just state the facts - which your opinion is correct from where I am standing. but it could have been written like - Your dealer sources the watch from the factories, they have no control over availability. I asked myself the same thing when I joined, some of the members here seemed excessively toxic! After reading more, and seeing old threads you start to see a pattern of new and entitled members not even doing their basic research when it comes to Reps, TDs, etc. If I can say so without bringing the wrath down upon me I still think there is an excess of hostility at times , but I can at least see where it's coming from!If I were you I'd go hide now, they don't sleep and they're coming!!!

Not at all! In an effort to educate myself and to purchase a watch I've just read multiple threads. Like it or not at face value there does appear to be hostility towards some newer members. My initial reaction was thinking that lots of members here are just jerks, but like I said after reading more I realized I was in the wrong, and that the rules have been clearly posted.
Good to see that. You're a member that will learn and contribute to this community. I was once a stupid noob. But I spent time educating myself here and on other forums which no longer exist.

There is nothing toxic about a negative reaction to a stupid post.
If you stood up in a enormous room full of people and said something which proved you were somewhat foolish, and definitely ignorant, you would expect to be chastened for it.
