On a recommendation from a forum member I purchased a JF Rolex Explorer 1 . He said the tell was the word "Explorer" was spaced to wide which it is but has the correctly marked crown and the rest looked darn good when compared side by side with a gen in pictures. Any way I don't find Trusty Time on the trusted sellers list but can find good feedback from members that have purchased from him, is there a reason for that ?? I too had a great purchase from Andrew . Fast response on my questions , fast and easy payment via PP and a little over a week well packed and delivered as ordered. No QC pics which I would have liked but all in all I would buy from TT again. Any feedback would be appreciated .CJ.

You can’t find TrustyTime at the trusted dealer list because he is NOT a trusted dealer here at RWI.

Did you use
http://www.ttw-1388.com/index.php?main_page=shippinginfo

I can't see that they accept PayPal.
Surprised you accepted without QC-seems unusual not to send you them.
You got any eye candy for us?

#1 why is TT not a TS ? Who did they piss off ? I could try some pics but I have only photo bucket and I've heard they are FUBAR ,,,As far as QC pics I haven't purchased a rep for a long long time and never thought to ask.I did send him a question looking for tracking info which he did supply within a few minutes and I did say I hoped he would send me a really nice watch which he replied that he always sends out only the best , guaranteed...well hell it's a rep not a gen I just it runs as long as a couple of old real bad reps I have do.

Search trusty time and you'll be able to find out why he isn't a TD here. I've used him multiple times for watches and had fantastic results. Just know you aren't going to get any help from anyone here if you run into issues with Trusty Time as you would if you ordered from a TD here.

I did do a quick search and feedback look Ok and a member sent a link and his site look good easy to navigate sent him a few question and got a fast response so I pulled the trigger. Like I said it's a rep which to me means it's a crap shoot any way so I guess I really don't need any addition replies. For $400 all in I just rolled the dice and I hope it doesn't come up snake eyes to quickly !!

Made my first rep purchase from him. I too acknowledged ordering a rep is a crap shoot so what did it matter? Arrived about week after the order was placed. Watch is fantastic and communications were fantastic and 100% will be ordering from him again.

He's not a TD here but a TD on other forum sites. However, don't expect RWI mods to step in should there be troubles.

I have used TT before. Andrew seems quite honest and helpful, but, when he sent me a rep that was DOA he said send it back, which I didn't want to wait monthes to get it back, so he said get it fixed and he would give me a $50 discount on my next order. But when I tried to make an order 4 weeks later, he couldn't remember saying it, and of course dumb me didn't save the email.
so I didn't buy from him, nor will I ever use him again. He lost my trust.

Next problem, and this is a big one for me.. Probably 25 to 35% of the watches on his website are old stock. Not in production, and not available. So when you see a rep you want you have to go through all the email stuff to ask about availablilty, just to be told NO, not in stock. I went through this for aa week until I gave up. I told him to ship my rep via EMS not DHL because I have a Post Office Box and DHL does not deliver to them. But he still shipped DHL and I had to jump through hoops to get them to hold it for me at DHL office.

So why use a non TD when your on your own if things go bad? It isn't worth it. Stick to our TD's and if things go bad someone has your back.

Dealt with Andrew a few times. He's pretty great. He has an Inhouse (well, sort of I guess) watch Smith too.

The Pam 127 I ordered looked good, but the micro screw on the swan neck wasn't set in all the way (asthetic problem only since rep swan necks don't work iirc). He had his guy sort it out for me and shipped it off no asap. Uses DHL too, so fairly quick service to Canada.

Credit card is safe! My bank called to confirm the charge though. No idea why he isn't a TD here, he should be.

Jump through hoops lol. Yeah, sure is hard to go to DHL My Delivery on their website and click "hold for pickup". I almost break a sweat every time.

I live in a small rural town, I have to do this for EVERY currier.

Let's say Andrew is having a bad week then. My experience was off the charts horrific.

Yea my 2nd experience with him was not up 2 par. I will probably be out $450 unless customs sends me a more "official" looking letter. But then again I'm having some trouble with a TD here too.
