Hi,
I posted this on Reddit r/RepTime, but I am posting it here to share the information.
I tried to capture all the relevant email correspondence. Here is the link to substantiate my claims.

BLUF (Bottom line up front):
Trusty Time is a fraudulent company and would willingly lie to you about their overhaul service (WS-001). They will claim that they have done the service and just pocket my money.
Trusty Time lied to me when
So this is a frustrating experience for me. TT blatantly lied to my face, even when I acted in good faith and believed them with their words (after all, they are trusted dealers, right?). Fighting with TT is pointless at best, so I wanted to write this post here so you guys can be aware of how POS they are and why you should avoid doing business with them completely.
I bought several watches from TT because they were the only one advertising Paypal as a payment method at the time. I wanted to keep my watch for a while, so I asked them to overhaul two watches I purchased (AP 15400 white dial, and VSF no time to die [omega in this post]).
For the AP 15400, TT sent me initial QC photos for my approval. Then they sent the watch for a service. A week later, they sent me a second photo with the movement test that indicated that the watch was serviced (at least the time error changed).
However, for the omega, they just sent me QC photos of omega for approval. Once I approved the QC photo, they just sent me a notification that my watches are shipped. I was super suspicious about this, but I did not have any option to dispute it because the watch was apparently already shipped.
A month after, Omega's crown got stuck. I reached out to a local watch smith who was willing to repair a rep. He initially thought a spring got loose and was causing the problem and quoted me $300 because he would have to disassemble most of the watch to fix the issue. I was ok with that because I wanted to keep what I had. I do not like the idea of just throwing it away once it's broken.
Since he would open the watch to fix it, I asked him to see if the watch was serviced. After a couple of weeks, the watch smith called me with good news and bad news. The good news is that the problem was not as major as he thought, and it was a simple fix. The bad news is the watch was not serviced what so ever. He said he could tell that immediately after opening the shroud.
I somewhat expected this result from how shady my transaction was with the TT. I reached out to TT about this. TT stated he would check with his watch smith, and, after a couple of minutes, replied saying the watch smith did do the service (given how quickly they replied, I doubt they actually checked with the watch smith).
However, they could not identify from their record which watches they sent in for the service! They said in the email; you only sent AP for the service, right? At this point, I knew that fighting over this with TT would be pointless. They lost all credibility for me, and they will just further lie like they have been doing with me.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide photos to prove it because I am extremely scared to open up my watch. It is at least functioning, so I do not want to mess with it. I recently broke my Heuer 01 trying to fix the hand alignment, and now I am extremely cautious (RIP my $400. You were a good watch while it lasted). I can probably send the watch to the watch smith so he can disassemble, take photos, etc. but that would cost money and time that I simply cannot afford. I think that there is enough circumstantial evidence to prove that TT is full of living shit.
Anyway, this is my cautionary tale. I finally got the time to write this story as I was swamped the past month.
Take care.

Trusty Time lied to me when
- Trusty Time sent me QC photos of omega for approval. Once I approved the QC photo, they just sent me a notification that my watches are shipped.
- When I inquired about the overhaul service, they claimed that the watch was serviced already and sent me the same movement test photo from the initial QC. According to them, they completed the overhaul of a watch even before sending a QC photo for approval.
- The said omega had a malfunction (crown was getting stuck) in a month. I sent the watch for repair. While it was with the watch smith, I asked him to check if the watch was overhauled.
- Watch smith called me and said the watch was not serviced.
- TT claims that they serviced the watch but cannot identify the omega.
So this is a frustrating experience for me. TT blatantly lied to my face, even when I acted in good faith and believed them with their words (after all, they are trusted dealers, right?).
