I had it serviced by vaclume about 8 years ago, today it died. The spring that winds the watch wont hold tension.

Can anyone suggest a repairer to service/replace the spring? Ive been out of the scene for so long ive got no idea whos still around these days!

Thank you :)

Vac is still around but for quick turnaround I'd recommend KATT.

Just a thought, a service is $160. You could get the noob v4 for $240 and have a brand new, closer to gen pam 111.

If you hold sentimental value to the watch go get it serviced. But if not i strongly suggest looking for a noob v4 111n. I still have a trusty 111h laying around from that same era and its a joke compared to thelatest noob.

Valid point, depending on servive/mov't. replacement it could be more beneficial to just replace with a current edtion. For example; TB has some PAMs at 158.00 in his Special Offer section. I've already been filling my watch case slots with his PAM specials. They are noob and H factory new editions too, so they look very good!

And on the flip side of that I had an old school 007SMP, the Seagull ST21 crapped out on me after 4 years. I bought a Swiss ETA 2892-2 off the bay for 200 bucks new and had it shipped staright to Katt, then shipped him my SMP to have the guts swapped out because that watch was so close to gen I thought it a worthy investment to keep running, especially since the factory that made them close down. So those were really limited run production.

Leaving aside the sentimental value, repair an old rep makes no sense at this moment with some bargains of new reps almost perfect in the market

Get the pam 111 v4. It's the latest and greatest. Any of the dealers can get one. I like sead or ryan from intime

and also we should consider that it's not always simple to find who can repair the watch if somebody is not able to do it alone

thumbs up. Also just thought I'd mention I think he has a deal on pam 111 made by h factory. It's not quite on the same level as the noob v4 but still a great rep at an amazing price. Read up on the two and decide. Have fun!
