Another good thread to read to understand where RWI comes from and some fundamentals is this:
Most of the information you need to know to start is there. If you're preparing to buy, read the stickies before ordering. When you're finished, you can continue learning by reading the stickies in all remaining sections. If it's stickied, it's important information.
If you intend to sell, read the sales rules and all stickies in the sales section with particular care and make sure you understand each single rule. Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Using the sales section is a privilege, eligibility must be earned, make sure you know and understand how.
For anything else, feel free to reach out to @eBoy or me, we're happy to assist, advise, direct, explain. Don't hesitate.

I think Puretime, Jtime, Intime, Theonewatches and Trusty and others are the TDs I'd recommend for newbies.
Why? Easy... Best selection of payment methods, rather sophisticated web sites, many communication channels and overall streamlined processes in place meant to make ordering easy.
The other TDs are great in their own rights and can sometimes offer "special stuff" in their services... But they are next-level for the more experienced veterans, I'd say.
Like Lucy. Very hard to reach at times, no web site... Not really recommended for the impatient and nervous newbie IMHO. But the connosieurs among us know that Lucy will offer you a unique QC experience that is pretty much unmatched in the rep scene and she will quite literally go the extra mile to offer you the perfect watch.
I'd say, start with the big ones (Jtime etc.) for your first and second order. If you're happy, just stick with them or if you feel like you are ready, go with the specialists like Sead, Hont or Lucy et al.
The great and wonderful thing is that each one of them is "Trusted" for a reason and there are only differences that you may personally like for example this TD's shipping, or this TD's QC, or this TD's way of communication better, but none of them is the "wrong choice".
They ALL deliver in the end (no pun intended).
