I've never been into Tissot. Nice enought watches, but not for me. Until today.
While doing a little shopping, the wife and I walk into an AD and I, of course, and perusing the wares - mostly digging on some Tag Carreras.
Then I see the glimmer of carbon fiber dancing in the light. It draws me to it. "Tissot", it says. But this is no ordinary Tissot. This is stunning!
The limited edition Nascar watch. One of the nicest and deepest carbon fiber dials I've seen running a Valjoux 7750. Great bracelet with openings to give depth and character, tasteful yellow markings on the dial, and a spoked display back showing the 7750 with a brass Tissot rotor. It wears great! I'm guessing about 44-45mm, and a perfect lug curvature for my wrist. Hefty, but not over-bearing. Buy-it-now price of about $1300 (list was $1595). Limited edition of 2007 world-wide.
