The TD apologized for it, and even told me right away that the date on the first, second and fourth watches were wrong.

Probably his eyes are badly angled.

Are we talking the DAY or the DATE as you now have mentioned both and the DAY is what I have been talking about (since that is where your post started) and when looking at THAT, the 1,2, and 4 from the single pics only, will probably be fine. Other angles would confirm. The 3rd option doesnt look straight so that I would have passed which is unfortunate as that only has the only centered DATE
