These rules have been drawn up by your Admin/Mod team in order to try and standardise the TRADING of items within this section. The rules are in our opinion fair and have been drawn up with input from the general membership whom they serve.
All the sales rules governing sales are contained here: https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...posting-update
1) First and foremost, find out if you are eligible to sell here.
Rules for eligibility include the following:
A) A member of RWI in good standing
B) Minimum of 25 (genuine) posts for non-VIP
C) Breathing and have a pulse
This includes watches, straps, bracelets, movements, other parts, and non-watch items. Potential buyers must use their own discretion in choosing from whom to buy.
Obviously, this is a significant departure from the previously stated sales rules. We are aware that some other forums have allowed all members to sell, regardless of post count, and have been able to do so successfully. However, this does mean that buyers will need to do their own personal evaluation of sellers. Read previous reviews of sellers, or check Ebay feedback, if applicable. If you want to buy a $1000 rep off someone putting it up for sale with his first post, it's your prerogative, but be cautious. The mod/admin staff will remain available to try to assist if there is a problem with the transaction, but keep in mind that there is only so much recourse available to the staff. We can't sue members and we're not going to send someone to break their kneecaps (which we might or might not be able to do).
2.THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION FORUM. PRICES MUST BE POSTED WITH ALL ITEMS
3. All items for trade MUST have pictures with current date and user name on it and be on a handwritten piece of paper.
Below are some examples of what we expect. Thanks to Pugwash for them

4. No dealers can trade in the For Sale section. If you wish to be a dealer on this forum you must contact someone on the Admin team. This includes anyone who just happens to have multiples of the exact same watch lying around their house.
5. Price or Trade value of the item must be clearly denoted. No auctions.
6. Registered non-Supporting members may list only one (1) watch per offer and three (3) watches per 30-day period. Non-VIPs may not depict more than one watch on a picture. Supporting members are entitled to unlimited sales per 30-day period and the ability to list multiple watches per sale. VIP members are encouraged to limit multiple watches to five or fewer and to post new sales only after the current five items are completed (please do not list the same item in both the Sales and Trade sections). Watch parts (cases, crystals, etc.) have no sales limit.
7. No more than one item per listing. Straps and parts are exempt.
8. Location of the item should be indicated in the listing, for example, "ships from EU", or "Item in CONUS". This is to minimise the number of questions and PM's people post in order
to discern location for customs reasons.
9. If a registered non-VIP posts a watch and it is NUKED for any reason, or you withdraw the item, it counts against your 30 day sale/trade limit.
10. All watches/parts/accessories of approximately $750 or more are limited to VIP members ONLY and must be approved by an admin/mod before being posted for sale or trade.
Failure to adhere to the rules once, will result in a warning, twice will result in a one month trade & sales ban, a third time, will result in a permanent trade & sales ban and if then
after all of this, if there is a subsequent occurrence, you will be banned outright.
Please note: All sales are to be made using the RWI Sales Form and it is not available on TapaTalk, please make your sales posts from a web browser. All sales posted not using the Sales Form will be removed.
More rules may be added as the Admin see fit, as we are here to try and protect the general membership, in particular new members from rogue traders. Please treat all transactions with caution and due regard for the seller's previous track record and sales history, ask for references where possible, and most of all use common sense.
We apologize to all traders here who always abide to the rules and it is you we are trying to help the most, we cannot have any discrepancy between trades, all trades will be standardised to try and alleviate the risk, please stand by our decisions to enforce the rules fairly and across the board as something needs to be done to make the trade section a fair playing field.
