Toshi Straps

Hi folks,

I don;t know if you are all aware of these straps bt i stumbled across http://www.toshi-straps.co.uk/ and thought the site was worth sharing. I actually one a strap of his on ebay this afternoon - as soon as it arrives I will let you all know about the quality but the price seems really good when you look at the quality.

I'm not a 100% positive that's why I posed it as a question rather than a statement. I remember the big blow-up over there, and this looks like the website, but maybe somebody can dig up the post and/or confirm.

No idea about him copying any websites, but I have several of his straps (all made for me) and I found him a really great guy to do business with. Most importantly, his straps have always been top notch and a pleasure to wear. Can't rate his work highly enough to be honest.

That's good to hear! I've had a couple of e-mails from him today and he seems like a nice fella.

Yep. Very helpful. Seems to be very accommodating if you want any variations on any of the regular designs (like different colour stitching on each side of the strap etc...)

Didn't know his straps were turning up on eBay though. May have to have a look... Thanks for the heads up

It was news to him as well! I think it was a first but I think the number he produces means it will be a rare occurrence.

Found the post. Looks like they were trying to resolve it. Not sure anything about the website actually changed though. Again, no mention of actual name, so still not 100%. Guess it doesn't matter to most anyway.

Yeah, the politics don't matter. Need more strap makers at affordable prices for us rep collectors.

There is this savage guy that I know.. politic free,, makes a killer strap.. especially a vintage oiled pull up model that's limited edition.. from what I hear anyway.. He has not yet come out with it for the public but I hear it is right around the corner.. 8) Just dont tell anyone :wink: 8)

Stay tuned,, Savage is making them available but only in a limited quantity. It is butter soft and one of the most comfortable straps I have ever worn!
It's sick how cool this strap is..
