TORO CG / T48 SL Crown. Knowledge Request.

Hi Folks. After almost 2 years of hanging around here every day, it only now occurs to me to ask the forum about key mods for PAMS. I know that there are various options for Crown Guards and Crowns but what's special about them? Goin had done some amazing work on my 111H, (Taka AR, Toro CG, T48 SL Crown, Matte Finish, Cannon Pin fix, Re-Lume) but it never occurred to me to ask why the Toro CG is particularly good or why T48-SL Crown is special. I know this is a noob question but that's how we learn. Can anyone offer some insight into these mods in terms of quality and performance? (by the way, anyone looking for extraordinary work, Goin is extraordinary.)

Toro CG is very close to Gen shape. There are better ones now. The new stock h factory ones are pretty good and so is Goins newest one. T48 has the correct teeth, dish depth and thickness. Well it's close anyway.

i got a Toro CG and the lever is not flush with the guard when closed, drives me nuts.
makes it useless in my opinion.

Did you over sand the lever?

never touched it. this is the one you got me. after all that pain the thing is poo.
