Well, most of us know that davidsen tests his watches to a water resistance of 30m.
Furthermore, most of us also know that usually 30m = light splashes.

as reckless as i am, or simply stupid i decided to take my pam112 from davidsen to new depths.

did it survive to a 1 hour swim in the pool? YES!
did it survive to a dive in the deep end of the pool? YES!
did it survive to retrieving sunken weights at the bottom of the pool? YES!

enjoy the pictures

ps: this post is strictly for entertainment purposes only (though the feats mentioned above are true), i dont recommend for anyone to do these with any rep watches prior to having them properly pressure tested. as for me, im just crazy and couldn't justify having a "300m" water resistant watch and not being able to swim with it...

daring, daring. but - now we all feel better.....would have been bad if the watch had gotten wet.
next time....100 meters deeper !

last year I've been to ibiza for vacation and took my 183 with me. I took it to the beach as well. next to us a guy also weared a pam. each time he went into the sea he took off his watch and when he came back he put it on again. And yes - he also has seen mine. And then time has come for me to go into the water. I thought: all or nothing. I smiled at him and went with mine. I also dived down about 5 meters. I was a little bit worried when I came out again - but nothing! Dry as desert. The next day the guy came without any watch

tested in salty seawater for half an hour, 5 meters:
