Sad day today.... The crown screw stripped... So now the crown sticks out and will not screw in. Sooooo, do I try and fix it or do I part it out? Can the threads be fixed??? Sad, watch looks brand new.

The thing the crown screws into is called a Tube and they can be changed..
Problem is is the rep the same as the Gen and even if it the Gen Parts would cost you double what a new watch would

I have a stem/crown with tube (they screw together perfectly) and an HEV assembly. BOTH tubes are press fit, not screw in.

I've been trying to track down a replacement He Valve for my SMP Chrono for months!
It seems to have just unscrewed one day and disappeared, leaving my lovely rep with an ugly thread, meaning it's been relegated to the watch box.
If Hogan doesn't need/want it.. could I possibly take it off your hands?
I'd happily lay some beer tokens your way, or make a site donation etc..?
