A Maurice Lacroix Automatic GMT Complication for under 3,000 bucks? Now I know you might not get the significance of the brand nor the price but this price is beyond great it’s almost laughable.
First, look at this grey market site who has it for $2448.00. http://www.prestigetime.com/item/Mauric ... 2-110.html
Grey market means they cut a deal with an Authorized Dealer or Distributor to buy at 15-25% above cost. The AD and Grey market Dealer agree to take out the manufactures warranty card and offer their own warranty but could very well utilize the same repair facilities. In other words, they most likely will end up at the same repair channels as if you paid full retail.
This is where it gets better. Occasionally the manufactures will offer a friends and family sale or public sale through the outlet of the internet. If my suspicions are correct this model is being phase out in favor of a new dial with batons in lieu of the roman numerals. ML or one of it’s distributors was authorized to clear this model on bling daily with full manufacturer’s warranty for 999.99.

The lowest I have ever seen this model go for is 900.00 used on the bay and that was with a leather band.
Did I buy this watch? No, but that is because I have too many watches and no funds. lol

If I am wrong on this please let me know. I do know Daily Bling tried to sell these for 1100.00 last month. Word is they didn't sell enough so they lowered the price.
