These watches are beautiful. I regret selling mine. :(

Closest thing you can get to this is Getat's MM:

Beautiful!
I wish I had the 'T swiss T' dial on mine as well as the correct case back.

BOUDART, that's not a DSN 036 dial, so this must be one that Taiji sent to Ziggy (or someone else) to use a little paint magic and turn the "L"s into "T"s. Great watch, Taiji!

Bingo. Hooli. Yes you are correct about the dial work on my PM36B.

Why on earth do all the good rep pams such as this one and the Angus 111e go out of production? and when they come back to production, they create a craapy dial.. sheesh.

Here is my DSN.
I love the combo of a brown dial and Ti case!
Just awesome. Only problem on the new DSN dial is that outline of the numbers.. But I can live with it. For a while.. ;)

Another minus point is the DSN brown is still not as good as the very old discontinued dial. The gen is almost very dark brown, you may mistake it for matte black dial.

The closest thing to the gen item would be another gen which is PAM118E/F series.

Sorry, Doc. I'll try to clear it up.

I can tell from the dial color that it is not a Davidsen 036 dial, which comes with the "T Swiss T" below the 6. So, it must be an older version of the 036 dial that originally came with "L Swiss L" print below the 6. Now this "L Swiss L" version of the 036 dial has proven to exist in at least two instances for gens (likely replacement parts, not originally installed in the watches), but it is still considered incorrect for this watch. A popular modification is to send these "L Swiss L" rep dials to a watchsmith/modder, like Ziggy, to be relumed to resemble aged tritium color and modify the print below the 6 to read "T Swiss T", which is far, FAR more commonplace for gen 036s.

Does that help?

You are right Tak.

Although the old school PAM36 rep dial is still no where near the gen dial, but it is by far the best dial ever produced.

Final mod added to the movt and that is I have painted the round edges of the 4 pink jewels with gold paint.

Also incoming is DSN latest PAM36B caseback (not shown in the pic) with better engraving.

After receiving it and upon installation, I guess I'm done.

Just received DSN's new engraved CB.

Look awesome and with very crisp enraving.

Will post some updated pics after I swap out the old CB.

Cheers

Wow, new caseback, taiji? You're turning that thing into a monster! This is easily one of the nicest 036s I've ever seen.

It's nearly as good as it can get without adding gen parts....
