So I have been thinking about it and I can be sure that I am obsessed about it lately. I have been looking at a lot of PAM models and have difficulty picking one that I like. What I like is in between the simple and classy 111 and the slightly more sophisticated PAM 90. Some of my paneristi friends advised me to go for radiomir 183 but I like something more on the watch (e.g date window, or chrono, or power reserve on the dial) but still not too over crowded. I went to a panerai boutique the other day and was actually smitten by the PAM 356 they had on display. Still, I think I can go with a little bit simpler model, and so I become even more confused. What in the hewl do I really want? So if any of you could point me in the right direction so I can aim well and pull the trigger I would be more than grateful. I have 7inch wrist if it makes a difference.

And last but not least, a very happy father's day to all the dads here! :)

Man, simply buy 2-3 models and sell which does not suit you... There are awesome replications out there, ALE made a list about all the super reps. If you do not like one them, they could be sold relatively easily with minor losses here.

Go and find it out YOURSELF, do not like what others like ;)

That would be difficult, it's all a matter of personal taste of course .... ;)
You might want to take a look at a Pam 104 ( 240 ) or 164

Good luck deciding !

112 is the most classic simple Pam of all time. And new ones are superb.

104 or 164 IMO for a DW. Even an 029 is classy

I agree 100%....get a couple or a few. Whichever ones you don't like, just sell them off. Even if you "lose" a few bucks...it will be worth it to finally settle on the one(s) that really speak to you.

Who knows, you may end up keeping more than one. That's what happened to me!

The whole process is a lot of fun!

Thank you all for the inputs, for the record i currently have 3 PAM homage watches that I like, but I can't say that there is 1 that I absolutely love. I was thinking of collecting other brands too so I would get a model of different brands, lol.

I know everyone has different reasons why they like a watch, but I was wondering what do you guys look for in watch? for me I like something timeless and I can wear for different occasions, and for me the more I pay for the watch the more I would like to see in the watch (like I said chrono, date window, etc on the dial instead of a simple hour and minute hand)....

As always, thank you and look forward to hear from all of you:)

I like to have a sub, a rad, a PreV, a standard contemporary 44mm and some vintages.

Oh wow, that is probably one of my favourite pictures... I've saved it :)

The vintage ones to the right are perfect, may you list and show me more pics!

Excellent news! I've just started my own EXCEL sheet for the Super Reps, to try to help select by features, but I suspect yours will be much better so will wait for it!

Thanks,

Alex
