They're pretty crap from what i've heard (as is the case with most rep testicle leather strap anyway), I would get a custom one regardless. Also remember the the little buckle thing that goes into holes (what is that things name?) is wider than usual, so your strapmaker will need to take that into account, or you will need to cut it yourself so it'll fit

Well, thanks mate.
In that case I'll wait for watch and than buy a strap...

May I ask you one more question: PureTime for example provides watch service - movt servicing; is it remarkable?

The general rule of thumb on the forums is that servicing should be done by one of the trusted watchsmiths, or a local watchsmith. The reason is because of a lack of transparency with servicing on the dealers end

Hi,
Can anybody tell me something about quality of "calfskin strap" of Montblanc Timewalker Chrono? I mean this "best Noob edition", i.e.:

http://www.pureti.me/product/timewa...ob-best-edition-on-brown-leather-strap-a7753/

Is it worth anything or should I replace it as soon as I get the watch?

If they are crap then so are the authentic straps because I have a black leather replica strap from puretime and an authentic croc timewalker strap and other than the extra slot they are Very close in look and feel. Even the buckle is very close.

O!
Good to know! I can't wait my timepice (already over a week since sending by Puretime).
But another thing - chrono minute hand - does it really wobble?

Here is a pic of a Gen Timewalker strap next to the one from a Puretime
Timewalker.

All A7753s have the wobble. There's no getting around that. Just search this on the forum and you'd see it in every single watch with an A7753.
