Timewalker Comparo - A7750 VS A7753

I received my A7753 last week and at first sight I could definately appreciate the better crystal with AR that REALLY gives a better contrast of the dial.

I have decide to do a little photo shoot as well as a comparo between my A7750 version.

What a beauty! Don't you think? Now here is the comparision.
The most significant improvement of the 7753 over the 7750 is the crystal, see how more contrast the 7753 gets (7753 is on the RIGHT)

- The Montblanc logo is better defined on the 7753, and the crown is thicker on the 7753

- The angle formed by the puch button axe with the crown is also different between both version. The push buttons from th A7753 seems to be closer to the crown.


- The lugs and fake montblanc pattern screw are also much closer to gen on the 7753 vs the 7750:

- We all thought that the two versions were sharing the same casing and bezel, well it seems that it is not the "case" :

See how the crown rest area is sitting higher on the A7753 on the right.

-Rotor indicating 4810502 instead of 4810501 which is as per Gen. The engravings are also deeper on the 7753.

- The Bezel is also different, the angle of the surface is more flat on the A7753 making the watch thinner and giving a thicker look to the bezel.

Both watches are great, but god does the A7753 has more punch and more contrast! I love it!

Just realized I completely forgot to do a Lume Shot. The 7753 really has a fantastic lume. The thin lines from the hands are like glowing pretty hard in the dark.

Yup, the Gen Timewalker has a polished bracelet as well.

I never gave MB watches any consideration until seeing your review.

I love white faced watches and it looks supper classy.

I have a question about sizing... There is no micro adjustment correct? ANd no half link? So, either you luck out in the wrist size deaprtment or it ends up too tight or loosey-goosey?

How did you fare fit-wise?

I would buy this watch if I knew it would fit.

You are right, no micro adjustment and no half link. I like to wear my bracelets watch a bit loose. I am lucky with the TW because it fits just fine. My wrist is a tiny bit under 7.5 inches

As for the Dial, it is really silver/aluminized. Gives a really good effect with the light when you change the angle. Almost looks like a diamond

You can see the aluminized/silver sunburst dial effect better on this one (QC pic from my 7750 vesrion, but same dial finish on the 7753)

I have the 7753 black on leather. Over the summer we were at the Four Seasons across the street from the flag ship store in NYC and I tried on a gen. Although I did not have the rep with me, I could not tell difference. There is no way even a sales rep could tell. They don't look at micro details like Bar vs M on the case back etc. Either way, nice review and I'm glad I held out for the 7753. And BTW the gen is a 7753 so the big tell of the 7750 vs 7753 to the gen is that the 7750 does not have the date wheel advance button
