Hello guys,

I just received my watch from Trevor: The Montblanc Timewalker Automatic Chronographe.

It is a very beautiful watch, pics don't do justice. the only "problem" is the strap that is just an ok strap. It doesn't look like alligator but it is a usual thing with reps.

So the wathc is just as it is supposed, it keeps goos time, the chrono is wotking resetting perfectly a 00.

I am glad with y new watch, I can go for the next one
First I'll find a better strap !

Good choice, you can't go wrong with this one.
If I remember well, it has an odd lug size, just take 1mm larger while buying your genuine alligator strap (it changes the watch!), it will fit.
also these are decorative screws, the strap takes normal spring bars.

The Lugs size is 22mm.
For the strap: 22/20 is good, 22/20 is good also !:
I am just wondering what strap I will take ... Kain, Hirsh, other ?
any advice will be apreciated.

The brand is less important than the material : croc or alligator. Or at least a good alligator pattern, although they will last less.

Brown or honey is the best choice IMO, black being a bit dull.
Ostrich leg is a cheaper alternative

Be careful with the punching shape, if you want to fit the Montblanc buckle, it should be PAM style holes.

I don't really car about the brand, but I saw some beautiful ones... that's why.
WWhat i want is real alligator.. I got a no name one from germany for my hamilton wich is still in a good shape after a year of a almost evreyday wear.
If it can fit my montblanc buckle it will be the cherry on top

Strap arrived

Hello folks,

Here are some pics with my new strap. This strap is beautiful, but doesn't fit the mtblanc buckle, I had to take another pin to fit the strap holes. (the montblanc is a bit biger).
I don't car my watch improved so much with this strap !!
