Hello, new guy here from the US. I've been creeping both the RWI forum and r/RepTime for several months now, and I've gotten to the point that I am ready to pull the trigger on a rep purchase. I went with Jtime after reading numerous excellent reviews, and my 1st purchase was a VSF date Sub - I'm currently awaiting QC pics. I'm pretty excited to join the RWI community and I'm looking forward to getting into this hobby. I can't wait for the Sub to arrive......but I've learned enough from my lurking to know that patience is the most important part. So I'm being patient!
I've always enjoyed watches in general, and another hobby of mine is amateur watchmaking / repairs. I mostly work on ETA movements and have gotten most of the servicing/cleaning/lubrication down, but repairs are probably still out of my league for the most part. Just trying to find things to do while I'm still breathing.
