Hi all Pam Lover

I'm a green hand on Pam and I have just ordered my first rep PAM104 O noobs from one of the TD.[emoji1] [emoji1]
After they sent me the QC picture, I found the back cover logo & wordings are not in a vertically position and so I ask them to help me reinstall it to make the backcover wordings up-straight. However, TD replied me that "the back cover cannot be tightened once it was opened, please accept this is a replica ..."!!! Is that true ?!?!? [emoji33] [emoji33] I was completely shocked by such an answer. If so this means the replica cannot be repaired....

All experts here please kindly let me know the fact.

Cheers!
Anthony

I think you can unscrew the case back and screw it back in place with the alignment you prefer.
Where's the problem?

That's what I think and I want them to do for me as I don't have special tools to open the back case. But they answered me with such a weird reply and that's why I'm asking for u guys advice.

He probably doesnt have the tools to close it up, thus the comment.

However, the actual alignment of the text is dependant on how it was printed (or engraved ) if its already tight, the only way you would get it to align would be to not tighten it properly ( i would not recommend that ).

How far off is the type anyway?

Er, I think something has been lost in translation there, blame Google Translate.
Casebacks don't line up on the gens either mate, much like crowns on a Rolex.

And your TD is not a watchsmith. I don't think he open a watch for you.

You can get the tools to properly tighten the caseback but if you're not going into water with it, the rubber/duct tape ball should do the trick.

I agree with Col

Casebacks don't have to be aligned with the rest of the watch. You screw the caseback to get an appropriate water proofing not to get alignment.

To align the inscriptions with the watch is a non sense either in reps or gens
