Thoughts on these straps?

I have a 177L from Lay coming in and have been looking for close to gen black leather straps with deployant clasp..Anyone have experience with the following or thoughts..

I actually ended up ordering them, I really wanted black/black combo with the deployant strap. Ill post some pics when I get the straps and watch..

One of the great things about Panerai is the fantastic amount of different straps available.
Just do a search and you will be kept amused for hours.

So I got the straps today, I think they are pretty nice for the money. They feel good. The clasp I think could have a bit more of a "tighter" feel? Overall, not bad. That being said, I dont have much to compare them to though.

Just a typical rep strap...but to each his own.

Look at the trusted strap dealers brother. You will be amazed at the difference in quality and feel

The simpler the watch (such as most Panerais except the blingy ones with chrono function), the more important the strap. I've ordered straps from 3 of our trusted strap suppliers now, and each is a different league from the typical rep. strap. I used to wonder what difference the strap could really make. No more. Makes all the difference in the world. Trust the old hands on the forum. They know of what they speak!

I will never wear a rep strap. in fact if I had a gen strap I wouldn't wear it.
I liked handmade straps so much, that I decided to start making them for
myself. they make a 500% difference in the watch. the look, feel, everything.
and switching them out adds that other dimension to the versatility of the watch.

I appreciate the input guys, I feel these straps are not a nice as they should be. I want to get a nice set of tan/brown straps as well but I want them to be close to gen in regards to style and markings..any suggestions?
