Thoughts on MPXI

I would say MPXI is one of the best Panerai strap to date. After more than 1 month of ownership, this strap gets the most wrist time and considered as the most comfortable on the wrist. I love the aging effects which this strap presents. The colour changes over time and the more often you wear it, you can see the character of this strap. To quote E on his website: "...Can you feel the Patina?". My definite answer would be YES, CERTAINLY.

Even the picture on TCStraps doesn't do justice. You've to see it in person. I didn't modify (distress or anything) the strap. It naturally ages.

@enzo: I got it when E offered 33% discount. Very good price IMHO. You can always request posting via USPS Global Priority Mail instead of FedEX. It costs less than U$10 and you'll get it pretty fast too (same speed as EMS). Email E for more details if you're going to use USPS Global Priority Mail.

You can't go wrong with it The one offered on the BB is MPXI Papaya Brown. Much darker than this MPXI Tan Ambra. More review on the new strap soon!

Has anyone out there bougtht the Papaya XI? It's an unusual colour so I'd been thinking about it (Xmas maybe ) - but I'd like to see some photos on a watch.

Speaking of which, that's an odd name for this colour: to me Papaya should be orange to pinkish-red. If I saw a brown papaya on my brekkie plate I don't think I'd be licking my chops! :lol:

Well... I haven't received the Papaya MPXI yet. Should be as good as this one. I will couple that one with my Carbon Fibre Ti PAM.

I got one coming from the Monday BB special. It will be the papaya brown.
