I joined this forum about a month ago. Not sure how I found it, possibly HighFlyingClive's signature on all his posts in various replica forums.
I have several genuine Rolex, Omega, and Cartier watches.
Somehow I got a yen for a Rolex Daytona a few months ago, after coming acrosss some internet site that sold cheap replicas. Something there didn't look right (many photos of genuines mixed in with a couple poor photos of their acutal watches.
Did some heavy duty searching and came across Replica-Watches-Guide. I read a bunch there and then found Replica Watch Group and read more there. Next I found TRC and read information there. Finally I found this forum and read all I could.
I like this forum the best. While all the forums are informative, everyone here seems to have a very helpful attitude and good sense of humor.
I took the advice of several long-term members and didn't ask any noobie questions. Just spent dozens of hours reading and learning from other posts. The advice was good, virtually all my initial questions were answered and I learned about many things I hadn't even considered.
The most immediately important thing I learned is that Rolex Daytona replicas are a very "iffy" purchase due to the movemnt issues. So I scrapped that idea.
I thought I'd start out in "replica land" with a small purchase. I ordered a VIPmariner from Tim a few weeks ago and am eagerly waiting for my zip code to be posted.
Anyway, I really like this forum and wanted to say THANK YOU to all the members and Mods here. I have learned a lot and look forward to the ongoing discussions.

Glad to be aboard!
