I'd like to think they're gens. I haven't seen very many reps of vintage pams and mare nostrums.

Oh Crap... there're some pieces that I've never even seen before!

DAMMNNN.....

A gold 201A? PVD Egiziano, a concept watch, not sure what it is... I think its the original mare nostrum

dadog, looks like I would need to create a user login before seeing what's on this site. Is this a gen Panerai user site?

OK, I'm confused by that thread. They're implying that some of those watches are fakes? Fakes as in built from spare parts of real Panerais, or fakes as in built from replica parts?!?!?!?!

My head hurts.

That Destro 201/A is sweet though!

I've seen this picture before, it is amazing. I just cannot bring myself to "collect" like that.

I wished that was my backyard and that boat just the center piece to display my collection...

BUT NO! :x The owner is some Italian guy that soposedly had access to different gen parts and although there are many gens, there's also some "fakes" due to the fact that he built them (or his watchsmith did) from spare parts.

Anyways it was meant as a reminder of what WE could do with a little help from our dealers.

Cheers!

You know, there's a thin line between showing an appreciation for watchmaking by investing in a variety of different watches and mental instability. And if you've reached the point where you have more watches than, say, items of food in your pantry, you may be leaning towards the latter category.
