So this week I picked up a nice 111e. The movement has fully engraved nicely and appears to be a nice example. I was able to talk LOS out of one of his straps, and threw on a Heroic buckle. I think the combination is really nice and it is SO COMFORTABLE.

I also picked up an old case 196, a Palp crown, 7753 movement with hands, and there is a lello on the way... Only to have my hopes thrashed about by the same LOS that I spoke highly of above... I had no idea that I also needed a new dial. SO, unless the lucky chap who has the genuine 196 dial on the forum wishes to part with his baby, this project is on hold. In which case I need to beg Francisco for a date wheel mod... Because I cannot stand the sunken date wheel! I did get a new Ted SU dive strap for it. In my humble opinion, this is the ONLY strap and buckle combo for the 196, 188 or other sporty 24mm lugged Pams. I wish I could just wear the strap... I WOULD!

I also picked up my 4th Seconds at 12 ROO... Yeah, Im crazy... But, well... we all are. But since its not a Pam, I wont go in to detail about it here. Im sure no one cares.........

That is a standard Pelican 1200 in black with foam pluck interior.
Let me know if you want one, this case can actually fit 6 watches if they are spaced closer together.
I have a friend who gets these at really good wholesale prices for me.

Nice acquisitions and the ROO is a must have. Too bad my wrist size is too small for such watch.

looks really good, like the case too. I agree on the AP, I think I need to have at least one in my collection.

How did you cut the foam? Just take an exacto knife to it and viola? Great idea though. I never knew those ROO's were so thick!

The foam is actually called "pluck Foam" it has the squares already pre-cut, and just connected at the corners. You just measure where you want the holes, and pull the squares out.
I will check and see what I can get these for again, the price fluctuates, but awhile ago I was able to get them for $22.50 shipped in CONUS.
