How is it that the case, bezel, crown and crown guard weigh 9.4 grams but with the case back it weighs 64.4 grams?

If all those parts were or are only 9.4 you would think the case back would be light as well.

Because the caseback is not made of carbon composite. Its steel.

The 65.4 gr. is made up of the case & sapphire crystal & the back cover as well as the metal inner core. The metal back is also screwed into the metal inner core. To screw the metal back into a pure carbon case means that it would never be waterproof. This is also the case with the original PAM.
