Hi guys,
Due to work commitment, I was off from the rep scene for quite some time. I was stunned when I saw the PAM243 at first.

Being a mod addict, the PAM243 seem perfect this time as it has very minimum flaws and require almost no mod.

Thanks to all the respected members who posted their reviews on both the H and Noob factory, the information and comparo are very useful especially for someone who has left the hobby for a long time. I also spent a fair bit of time comparing the rep pics against many gen pics and my vote finally goes to Noob PAM243M.

The Noob factory released 2 different series of PAM243 reps. Namely the L and M series and I must say that the Noob factory has improved largely by fixing glaring flaws like unpolished cannon pin /placement of "L swiss made L" under the numeral 6 / unpolished bezel pins / protruding pearl etc.

However, I noticed that there are some variants to the dial on Noob Pam243.

NOW, let's take a look at the latest PAM243M V2

Notice the shiny sub dial with concentric circles?

I was told by the dealers that all the latest PAM243M dial come with the shiny sub dial with concentric circles now and they no longer use the one that has matt surface for both the dial and sub dial.

IMO, the previous batch are most accurate especially the transitional PAM243L V2 and PAM243M V2 done with all the improvements.

Another thing I notice is the the cannon pin on the latest PAM243M V2, it seem that it has been over pressed leaving very mild inward dent whereas the previous batch was well polished and flushed flat with the hands. The cyclop also show more distortion IMO.

I am no panerai expert, just hope to share what I notice from this super rep.
Any comments or any news of the latest release with improvement from the factory are welcome.

Which dealers told you all have the concentric circles? I'm looking at some QC pics from Angus posted 5 days ago on RG and it doesn't seem to have the circles.

Just got my new 243 from puretime not long ago, it has concentric sub dial.

Thanks for spotting the shine subdial.

Moved the pics for viewing on a better monitor and it looks like it has the circles, it's just the angle not showing them. This sucks:( so much for a super-rep.

I didn't realize it at first too but the glossy sub dial caught eventually caught my attention after viewing many latest Pam243M qc pics.

Interesting. Thanks for share.

Two flaws need to be correct: the second subdial and the polished edge of the bezel. A bit larger in the gen.

Let's see the concentric circle subdial...

not easily visible but as you tilted, it would reflect some lights....

Did anyone also observed that the lume at 12 & 6 are sucks....not superlume...which probably can be concluded the dial was from another manufacturer than the previous SUper Rep Noob Pam243M V2.

That's the way it was from the beginning, nothing changed lume-wise!!

Thanks taiji for the interesting info
It is really unacceptabole for a Super replica.

I have just (four days ago) received a PAM 243 Noob V2 from Puretime and it has correct subdial matt without circles. It seems that Noob has two different series it is not a general issue.

I'm going to include this info in the PAM GUIDE

EDITED BY ALE: Some days after and with a lens and good light, I have seen clearly the circles in my PAM 243...

Very interesting, I shall be sure to request one without the circles when I come to place my order.

Everyday I seem to learn more nuances about the 243 & 111, should have stopped reading after the reviews on how good they were.

Always seem to over research!
