One watch on my wish list is a platinum Day-Date Rolex with roman numerals with an iced blue dial. Given the obscene grey market prices and complete unavailability from a Rolex AD I turned to Steve. There was the exact watch on their website so I placed my order and in 5 days I had the QC pics. Everything looked good so the saga started.
The watch was posted on September 29 and then we watched it bounce to and fro in China, it kept getting rejected at the same point in the China postal system and start the circle again. Steve was great and stayed in contact as we waited and hope for some resolution. Finally, it magically made it through the choke point and was delivered Dec 27. Thank you again Steve for keeping up the good communications.
The watch looks great, it is stainless steel so it is not as heavy as the gen platinum version but given the $66,000 price difference, I am good.
