I'm making this threat because I've already depleted all options with puretime customer service...

Purchased a white dial Omega Seamaster Professional when I've received the watch and it does not work, it gets stuck when I manually wind it it lasts less than 60 seconds and stops again, I'm not sure how it passed QC. I had to fix it with a local watch smith and they did pay for the expenses.

Now a few months go by and the dial changes color, I'm not sure if this is a common issue but I contact them again and tell them that there is this issue with the watch, see image attached:

For reference this is what it should look like:

The yellowing it very obvious and I want to replace it, since almost a year went by I'm out of warranty, so I want to purchase just a dial, which I pay and after 6 months asking about it they still say "No stock" and they can't get the dial, not even in a different color, or a different manufacturer so now they just issued me a refund for the payment, but still no solution for me.

Now I have this watch that looks terrible and I can't wear it, I would like a better customer support from Puretime since I've purchased all my watches from them for the last 5 years, and I'm making this post so people can make their own decisions considering this past experience

Anyone has an idea on how can I fix this?

Thanks

I don’t think it looks terrible and see no reason why you couldn’t wear it.

It's a replica watch... sometimes shit happens.... let me guess.. VSF or ORF seamaster?

The yellowish lume is known to happen on the VSF/ORF seamasters and is even more prominent on the white dial because of the comparison

Here's someone's QC with the exact same "yellow lume" tint

You spent like $400 on it... just toss it and buy a new one and move on.... this issue is sometimes known to happen with the Seamaster... keep expectations reasonable... now you know

You have been on this forum since 2016, and most of your 18 posts have been complaints. Now you have received a refund for a dial? and you are still complaining. Not a single positive review for any of the purchases you've made. But now it's threats? What is the threat?

happy new year everybody, very active during early hours I see.... I'm not making threats .. But they cannot help me fix the watch, that's all, maybe non of the sellers can and I just had a different expectations from them.
I do own GEN watches, but I'm not a huge fan of this color to buy GEN..

They aready gave you a refund. That concludes the deal between you too. What else do you want? T

Take the money and go buy yourself a new watch.

they just refunded the extra I paid for a new dial they could not get,

I'm looking to buy just a dial instead of buying a whole new watch even getting the dial in another color

If you want someone to relief you from the burden of this watch, just drop me a PM.

Shall the price be fair, considering all the problems it has, and if you are in the EU, I might take it. Your welcome!

Sorry, but please, whether it's a dial or a watch, try to choose one with the indexes aligned at 12...my eyes hurt after looking at your pics!

Thank you, I knew I couldn't be the only one cringing at that. Much more worrisome than a faded lume. IMO. Get a new dial from DHGate. Be sure the markers are straight this time. You okayed that?

You guys may be looking at the wrong pic or maybe I am. OPs yellowing dial indices looks fine to my old eyes. The white lumed dial pic, I believe he used as an example for the color.

So I less then humble suggestion is sell that on along and buy a new one. VSF is known to not have good parts availablily. Take the refund for the dial, the proceeds from selling that one and buy a different model/maker. Problem solved.

Take a closer look at both photos, the indexes at 12 are evidently misaligned...as @var554 also said, it seems strange that the OP complains about yellowing instead of misalignment.

I am sorry for this. We did tried to order the dial but we can't control factory can't supply it. If they will have one in future, we will let you know.
