Thinking about getting out of Pams...?

So I've been wearing my gen omega's and my iwc f.a. for a while now, ever since I got my f.a. back from river it hasn't come off my wrist.

My 111h is just sitting there...collecting the inevitable dust which all things will.

I dont have a need to wear it, or a want...Last time I wore was almost a month ego...

Should I just get out of pams entirely? Is there something I'm missing? I am only interested in the 183/177h which are basically the same thing as the 111h...save for case.

Should I just sell and get something else?

I guess I am at a crossroads.

Any guiding opinions/comments will be appreciated.

I feel the same as you, I just sold my 2983 pam 063 because although it is a beautiful watch I just dont wear it.

I did buy a 192 that I plan on oxycleaning to darken it up, but who knows if I will actually wear it.

I can tell you that if you get rid of it you will miss it soon after. I agree with you on maybe selling or trading for a 183h. A new kind of pan will spark you to wear it again. Getting rid of it all together will cause you just want it back when its gone. I let my base go about a year ago and regreted it every day. I missed the strap options that the watch had. It looks great on any strap, leather, velcro, and metal. Not many watches in your case will be that versatile. Just my opinion though. Good luck on whatever you decide.

That is a watch I would hold onto, even if you don't wear it that often you will miss it when it is gone.

111h is easy enough to get again, try something else for a while. You might even find someone willing to trade for a watch you want on the for sale board.
