I am thinking about buying a PVD Bell & Ross 01-092 with a rubber strap.

Do you guys have any input about them? I've always loved them, and I think its time for me to own one.

I cant decide between White, Orange or Blue. (I am only going to wear it after work, so no dress clothes)

What is the difference between the "BR 01-092" and "BR 01-92 Limited Ed 1:1" that both Joshua and Andrew sell?

And where can I find the nylon strap??

Go for Orange in my opinion. It's just more visually interesting.

Whoever you buy from get a canvas strap for another $35 or so.

Then call Kent at Everest Works and book it in for a lume job.

I have one with the SS case and white numbers, and I love it. Usually I'll wear it on the rubber, but it dresses up pretty decently with a black croc strap. Wouldn't wear it with a tux, mind you, but great for business casual...

I agree, the orange is very interesting visually... and a great choice with the PVD. If I got a second one, that'd be it, but it's all about preference...

Far as I know (please correct me if I'm wrong), the "Limited Edition" refers to the blue and orange versions... It should read "limited edition" on the dial. White version won't have this.

Good luck!

BTW the orange and blue in gen form says special edition on the back to my knowledge the reps do not have that making the white number on black dial the "closest"

Hi all-

Just registered, I've been looking at the same watch. I'm looking for the white hands and dial markers. PureTime has a SS version of the watch, with the correct model (01-092) on the back, but so far no PVD. I have emailed to see if one is available in PVD with the correct model number on the back, and I will let you all know.

Cheers-

Well I really wanted an orange or blue one, but the PVD with white is so classy! I am going to buy a white markered one off a forum member **ahem*** and later down the road I will buy a PVD orange or blue.

Where can I find the nylon strap with the BR buckle?

Angus sells the strap with buckle

Why don't you have a look at Vince's (Watchbuff) auction. He's selling an orange B&R dial and handset which has been lumed by Kent at Everest works. Get that and then when you fancy a change of colour you don't have to buy another watch. B&R dials never come up for sale on the forums so I'd snap it up if I didn't already have one! :D

Unless you cusatom Lume the dials..the GZ factory lume on the colored dial is weak if it exists at all. The white is a little better but marginal.

The new red dial is nice but Im partial to the orange than the blue in the colored variants. To me the white is easiest to pull off (3-4k range) and very distinct.

I was in Tourneau's sister store..... I'm not sure of the name but they carry Bell and Ross and top dollar for all. They are solid very good quality watches. No nonsense pieces of work that tell time. The Industrial motif and pilot gauge appeals to gear heads and pilot's alike :D
It's very "in " right now. They have been around since 91 and they use ...get this ETA movements...nothing in house or exotic. Go figure. It's a $200.00 movement around $4000 case.

Just got a reply from Angus, he has the PVD case with the correct model number on the back, and the removable lugs. It is an extra $20 for the PVD, but that's still $10 cheaper than josh or andrew

my friend just bought PVD fr china last week, looks good in the flesh, but just be careful not to scratch it, as it will reveal the stainless steel casing beneath it.

does any one have the one that actually come with pvd casing? or is there a way to 'blacken' the casing?

Just got the PVD last weekend, and i'm lovin it, wore it every single day now.
First i was opt for the the Orange, but totally hooked when i saw this on the store, and most of all, it only cost me $45
I guess it's the older version without the real screws on the back, and no lume at all, but i'm happy for 45 bucks, hehehe

Question time : with the gen, what's the lume color?
